Create images of all volumes un-imaged
Only regular images protect you against data loss. If you work a lot on your computer, data adds up every day. If an image has been created some time ago, your most recent files are not included in this last image.
In the control center (start page) of O&O DiskImage you will get an overview of un-imaged volumes or volumes, which haven’t been imaged for some time. The color in the display interprets the time left, since the last image was created.
0 – 10 Days = Green
10 – 20 Days = GreenYellow
20 – 30 Days = Yellow
Over 30 Days = Orange
Never been imaged = Red
You can now easily protect yourself from data loss and prevent any loss with just a few clicks:
- Click on Image un-imaged volumes now.
- Then, check the entered target path for the image. We recommend to save the image on an external drive, e.g. USB hard drive.
- Click on Start to continue with the imaging process. The process might take some time depending on the size of the drive.
Note: An image will be created of all listed drives with the default settings (Image of used sectors).
Tip: You can create the job so that your drive will be imaged regularly automatically. See chapter Scheduling functions.
Tip: If you want to image your entire computer, you can also use the One-click imaging.
