Specify imaging method for file backup
Under File backup/File backup options/Image file /Image method you can specify, what method will be preset for every file backup.
The options are:
- Complete imaging and
- Image of the changes
For the regular use, it is recommended to apply the imaging method Complete imaging, which is already set as default.
If you have already backuped certain files or folders, you can select the method Image of changes. Only changes made since the last source image will be stored.
When running an image of the changes O&O DiskImage, compares the data of the existing image with data from the most current folders. This might take up some more time than a complete image. However, the image of the changes takes up much less space than a complete image.
